Setting Up Shop with Woo Commerce

My experience with Woo Commerce — a plug-in for WordPress — has been good overall. (Really, it’s amazing if you think about it) I use PayPal and have had clients use a private — or third party — credit card merchant. Who ever you use they will want a cut (percent) of your sale.

To set-up a store on your WordPress install, go to Woo Commerce and download their plug-in (you may be able to find it and download from WordPress.org).

Install the plug-in and fill in the content pages. There’s a setting page with several sub-pages which need to be  completed. There’s a product section for uploading products. (I’m using downloadable art.) Start a PayPal account and you’re in business.
