Creating an Identity
Present your business in the best light
Often thought, creating a brand: put a logo on everything, using the same colors, use the same “look”. It’s not creating a big shell of an ego – so to say.
It’s putting yourself out there in an etheric way – the subtle body – sending out a feeling.
It’s not the clothes it’s what’s inside (the stuff you don’t see)
See the logo in you minds eye
I just had a comment from a client: He loves the logo when he’s looking at it – but when the logo is not in front of him – and when he’s thinking about the logo – he thinks of something else (not in alignment of what he wants to present).
As another example. I was working on a website refresh for an architect. We’re using old images from the previous site. This client designs outstanding home – as seen on the covers on architectural magazines. I came across an image of a home he designed that was used in an insurance ad. Read: protect your home from fire. And there was his beautiful home with fake fire Photoshopped in. Not a good way to present a custom designed home.
Stay Flexible
Companies grow – and they age. Don’t feel locked into the same old thing … think about direction and forward movement … new is good from a trusted old company.
