I HEARD IT ON NPR
It seems all our thoughts are derived from the media, or at least directed by “them”. What occupies our minds? A constant news blitz, a ding on our smart phones, a radio station in the background. We start to align with the beliefs of those we listen to. Knowledge was once passed through the church, or an educator of choice, a family member. Now we have up-to-the-minute media mind control brought to us by a giant corporations. A mere pass time while we’re eating digesting our lunch. We can’t be present with anyone who is fingering their pocket computer. When do we just sit down and converse, with each other, our children, our elders without the obedience to the machine?
